Eligibility To apply for Trinity Charter Head Start Preschool: You must live in the county that the services are provided in. Your child must be 3 or 4 years old by September 1 of the current school year for ISD partnered enrollment. Mid-year enrollment is available for children who meet age eligibility requirements. Specific income guidelines must be met - or families can be determined categorically eligible. To apply for Trinity Charter Early Head Start Preschool: You must live in the county that the services are provided in. Your child must be 6 weeks old by September 1 of the current school year for ISD partnered enrollment. Mid-year enrollment is available for children who meet age eligibility requirements. Specific income guidelines must be met - or families can be determined categorically eligible. Income Eligibility Based on 12 months of household income. Your family's gross annual income does not exceed the Federal Poverty Guidelines for your family's size. Income sources that must be considered include: Gross cash income Earned income Military income (pay + allowances) Veteran's benefits Social Security benefits Unemployment compensation Public assistance benefits Child support payments Vocational or college awards Categorical Eligibility Foster care and/or kinship placements Families receiving ongoing cash assistance through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program Families receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits Lives with a family member whose financial support comes from a parent or guardian who receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Lacks stable and safe housing and qualifies as homeless under the McKinney-Vento Act, which includes children and youth living without a parent or guardian.
