Trinity Charter School:
A Therapeutic Learning Environment

The Trinity Charter School system has four campuses in Texas. Three work with youth who have emotionally difficulties, requiring a high level of care and placement in a residential treatment center. These campuses are located at Nelson Children's Center in Denton, New Life Children's Center in Canyon Lake and Krause Children's Center in Katy.

A fourth campus, located at Bokenkamp Children's Shelter in Corpus Christi, specializes in unaccompanied refugee minors.

Trinity Charter School is in its fourth year of operation and holds an accountability rating of “Academically Acceptable” from the Texas Education Agency for the 2006-07 school year under the Alternative Education Accountability (AEA) standard. Trinity Charter School was the recipient of the 2005-06 Texas Excellence in Education Award.
