About the campus
Trinity Charter School – Bokenkamp’s drive mirrors the District mission to educate and empower students to transform and reclaim their lives. It is the school’s goal to provide an educational environment designed to inspire excellence, promote creative thought, achieve maximum potential, and instill responsible behavior and attitudes.
Our main goal is to help the students transition successfully into American Schools. Our school mission, vision, and philosophy are aimed at ensuring that our students are better prepared to face the challenges of learning a new language and understanding the American school system.

Bokenkamp Campus Gallery
A brand new soccer field was made possible for children at Bokenkamp Children’s Shelter with funds from The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, BlueCross BlueShield of Texas, Ray and Patricia Kym and the Bokenkamp Living Trust and other loyal supporters.
The field was constructed in partnership with Hellas Construction, an Austin-based company specializing in artificial playing surfaces. The new field will provide an outlet for both exercise and morale to the unaccompanied children calling Bokenkamp their short-term home.
Many of these children are escaping gang violence, extreme poverty and civil unrest in places where children are kidnapped for ransom or even sold into human trafficking. Bokenkamp serves children ages 12-17, providing clinical care, basic medical care, education through Trinity Charter Schools and recreation/acculturation services.
