Trinity Charter School (TCS) campuses offer classes in basic core subjects, and electives such as: visual and performing arts; sports; vocational courses; technology; and social skills training. Students may use Odysseyware and Plato for credit recovery and SAT preparation.
Upon enrollment, students participate in Achieve3000 pre-assessments in language arts, reading, math, science and social studies. The results are used to place students in appropriate, flexible groups and to design individualized learning objectives. Ongoing assessment of progress is made, based on formal and informal testing, as well as portfolio evaluation.
Computers, Smart Boards, and the use of other interactive technology for every subject are part of the 21st Century Classrooms designed to help close learning gaps and prepare students for productive adult lives. ALEKS and Edmentum are among the academic software programs available to students.
